Adam Daley is the Co-Head of Magnetar Capital’s Energy and Infrastructure group and head of the firm’s Houston office. He joined Magnetar Capital at its inception in 2005 and is a member of the firm’s Management and Investment committees.

Adam’s responsibilities include sourcing, execution and management of various investments primarily focused in the energy infrastructure and renewables sectors.

Additionally, Adam serves as a Director of Stem, Inc., the first pure-play smart energy storage company to go public in the U.S. after merging with Star Peak Energy Transition Corp. He is also a former Director of Star Peak Corp II, a public entity that merged with Benson Hill, a food tech company unlocking the natural genetic diversity of plants.

Previously, Adam was an investment banker at Salomon Smith Barney and Citigroup’s Global Corporate and Investment Bank. During his tenure at Salomon/Citigroup, he was responsible for executing a variety of corporate finance transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, public equity and debt offerings, private company financings, and corporate restructurings.

Adam earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance, with high honors, from the University of Illinois.
